Advice is independent, free and confidential.

In addition to working in a specific village, Village Agents work in a team to bring a wealth of experience, skills and knowledge. The project is delivered and managed by The Rural Community Council of Essex, registered charity No. 1097009, Company Limited by Guarantee No. 4609624, with over 80 years experience in rural affairs.

Our local Village Agent Christine McDonald says, "I am proud to be a part of Purleigh Community. I am in the village most days and am also available on the telephone or by email. I am in regular contact with the Parish Council, All Saints church, and local organisations and can be contacted at village events, or via telephone or email for individual enquiries or to arrange a home visit.
